Rates

As we explain on our "Customer Relations" page, after we get to know you and your pet, we will place you in one of 4 "clubs" based on your travel patterns.  Each club has its own "frequent flyer" and other discounts. Until we get to know you and your pet better, the following rate summary applies...

Regular Season Nightly Boarding Rates & Charges effective 06/29/07 

* Our "size" designations consider the size of the pet, the size of the room the pet requires, and the amount of work involved in the pet's care.  Until we have some experience with a particular pet, our boarding charge will be based on our experience with "comparable" animals considering breed, size, age, gender, and health.  Subsequent reservation charges will be based on our experience with the particular pet.  Our goal is to be fair.

Multiple Pets receive a 15% discount if boarded together, 5% if boarded separately.

Peak Season and Mixed reservations are subject to a 5-night minimum stay (3 nights for multiple pets boarded together), and are confirmed upon receipt of a specified deposit amount.

Medication Charges

• Pills in Food - $0.25
• Pills in Mouth - $0.50
• Ear & Eye Ointments - $1.00
• Injections - $2.00

Quality Time

• $5.00 per 15 Minute Session
  

Checkout Charges

If the pet leaves from our Grooming Room, there is not checkout charge; otherwise there is a $2.50 per half hour 'run charge' for pickups after Noon; we think this is fairer then the common practice of charging a whole night for pickups after Noon.  During the school year (Regular Season), on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays the office is open from 9am until Noon, and from 5-6pm by appointment.  The charge for a pickup between 5-6pm is the same as a next morning pickup.

Off-hour accommodation is by pre-arrangement for a charge of $2.50 per half hour.  The charge is incurred whether you arrive as scheduled or not. 

We don't like them.  We hope to develop solid business relationships over time. That is made difficult when we’re trying to communicate pertinent information through third parties. We recognize that sometimes third party involvement is necessary, but if your motivation is to shave a couple of dollars off your boarding bill, please consider if you’re being “penny wise, pound foolish”. In any event you will need to make payment arrangements, and you will be responsible for driving directions, and for communicating with the third party.

Miscellaneous Charges that are not specified here, e.g., driving a dog to its veterinarian, are calculated at a labor rate of $12.50/hour (kennel), $35/hour (grooming room) plus expenses.
